These product terms apply to Bible KJV: God's Word for All and supplement the general HandiHQ Terms of Service.
Free app
The app is provided without charge. It contains no subscription, in-app purchase, paid feature, advertising, or donation request in this release.
Permitted use
Users may install and use the app for personal, family, church, ministry, educational, and other lawful purposes, subject to the applicable app store rules and the End User License Agreement.
Scripture and historical texts
The 66-book KJV Bible, KJV Apocrypha, and additional ancient writings are presented in separate, clearly labeled collections. Inclusion of a text does not declare that text inspired, canonical, doctrinally authoritative, or equal in status to the 66-book KJV Bible. Canonical status varies among Christian traditions.
The app may contain transcription, formatting, search, pronunciation, or source-labeling errors. Users should compare important passages with a trusted printed or scholarly source and report suspected errors.
Personal notes and backups
Personal notes, highlights, bookmarks, history, settings, and listening positions are stored locally. Users are responsible for making and protecting any backup they choose to export. Handi Inc cannot recover local information that was not exported by the user.
System services and external links
The app may use device speech synthesis, Siri, Shortcuts, notifications, widgets, file selection, and sharing interfaces. External support and legal links are governed by the terms and privacy practices of the destination service.
Prohibited conduct
Users may not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, bypass security, misuse app interfaces, redistribute protected app artwork or code, misrepresent the source or canonical status of included texts, interfere with operation, or use the app unlawfully.
No professional or doctrinal guarantee
The app is a reading and study tool. It does not speak for God, replace Scripture, determine doctrine, or replace a pastor, church, counselor, attorney, physician, or other qualified adviser.
Availability and changes
Features may be corrected, improved, changed, or discontinued. Handi Inc may issue updates to maintain compatibility, correct errors, or comply with legal and platform requirements.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available and without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be disclaimed. Handi Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, lost-data, or similar damages arising from use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas unless applicable law requires otherwise.
