Handi Handyman Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Handi Handyman, provided by Handi Inc.. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
Purpose of the app
Handi Handyman is a digital toolbox for general informational, educational, estimating, measuring, calculating, reference, and convenience purposes. It is not a job management system, contractor marketplace, engineering service, architectural service, inspection service, code compliance service, professional advice service, or emergency service.
No professional guarantee
Measurements, calculations, room scans, material estimates, reference charts, AI output, and exported reports may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for independently verifying all results before using them for purchases, cutting, installation, repair, construction, safety decisions, plant or lawn treatment, chemical use, or any other action.
AI output warning
AI results can be wrong. Confidence levels are estimates, not guarantees. Even a very high confidence result may be incorrect. Do not rely on AI output as the sole source of truth. Verify all AI output with authoritative sources, product labels, manufacturer instructions, local code officials, qualified professionals, or direct measurement as appropriate.
Safety-sensitive work
The app does not replace licensed contractors, engineers, architects, electricians, plumbers, building inspectors, plant experts, pesticide labels, medical professionals, veterinarians, or emergency services. Use proper tools, safety equipment, product instructions, permits, and professional judgment.
Plant, lawn, chemical, and outdoor warnings
Plant, weed, grass, lawn, and disease results can be misidentified. Do not eat, touch, spray, treat, burn, compost, feed to animals, or make health, allergy, pet, livestock, poisoning, or chemical decisions based only on app or AI output. Always verify with qualified sources and follow product labels. The label is the controlling instruction for pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, fertilizer, and chemical use.
Subscriptions, purchases, and ads
Free users may see banner ads. A one-time Remove Ads purchase permanently removes ads for the purchasing Apple ID, subject to Apple’s restore purchase system. AI Premium is a monthly auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium AI tools and removes ads only while the subscription is active. If AI Premium ends and Remove Ads was not purchased, ads may return.
AI usage limits
AI Premium includes usage limits. Limits may apply by day, month, feature type, image count, request size, safety status, or system availability. Unused usage does not roll over. We may limit, reject, or block requests that are off topic, unsafe, abusive, excessive, unrelated to handyman, home repair, DIY, lawn care, landscaping, or maintenance use, or likely to create unreasonable processing cost.
Acceptable use
You may not use the app or AI tools to request adult content, celebrity or entertainment searches unrelated to handyman use, illegal activity, harmful instructions, harassment, malware, fraud, evasion, or any content that violates applicable law or platform rules.
External content
AI How-To Helper may provide links or references to external instructional content. We do not control third-party videos, websites, creators, advice, products, or instructions. Review external content carefully and verify safety before acting.
No warranty
The app is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, code compliance, safety, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handi Inc. will not be liable for injuries, allergic reactions, property damage, construction errors, code issues, failed repairs, plant or chemical harm, incorrect purchases, wasted materials, lost profits, data loss, indirect damages, consequential damages, or damages arising from reliance on app output, AI output, measurements, calculations, scans, reports, or external content.
Termination
We may limit or terminate access to premium AI services if usage is abusive, unsafe, unlawful, technically harmful, or violates these terms.
