Identification limitations

SnekQ provides an AI-generated informational assessment, not a guaranteed identification. Photos may be incomplete, blurry, distant, altered, stripped of metadata, or geographically unrelated to the uploading device. Never rely on SnekQ as the sole basis for medical, emergency, wildlife-control, legal, or animal-handling decisions.

Safety

Never touch, pick up, handle, corner, capture, move, restrain, or kill a snake based on SnekQ. Keep people and pets at a safe distance. For a suspected bite, contact emergency services or Poison Control immediately and do not wait for an app identification.

Subscription

New AI identifications require an active subscription after the seven-day introductory trial. Planned United States pricing is $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and trial eligibility are administered through Apple under the terms shown at purchase. Non-AI features and previously stored local encounters remain available when a subscription lapses.

Fair use

Unlimited identification is for ordinary personal use and remains subject to reasonable protections against bots, automated batch processing, commercial scraping, credential sharing, malicious testing, excessive repeated files, reverse engineering, and service abuse.

Reports

By confirming Report Inaccuracy, the user authorizes SnekQ to upload and retain the reported scan package under the Privacy Policy for review and improvement. Users must not intentionally submit false, malicious, unlawful, or misleading material.
