1. What Count Vaultula does
Count Vaultula is a personal inventory application for physical cash. You can create named containers, record quantities of bills and coins, and save additions, withdrawals, transfers and optional notes. The app does not connect to bank accounts or transfer money.
2. Local app data
Your containers, denomination counts, transaction history, notes, and custom denominations are stored on your device by default. The app encrypts its local vault data using a key protected by Apple's Keychain. Handi Inc does not receive your cash inventory through a company-operated server as part of normal app use.
3. Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud synchronization in the app's Settings, Count Vaultula uses Apple CloudKit and your Apple Account to synchronize your cash records between supported Apple devices. Records are stored in your private iCloud database operated by Apple, not in a HandyHQ cash-inventory database. iCloud synchronization is optional. Turning it off does not automatically remove previously synchronized records from iCloud. Apple's own privacy and service terms apply.
4. App lock and authentication
Optional app lock may use Face ID, Touch ID, your device passcode, or an app PIN. Apple handles biometric authentication; Handi Inc does not receive biometric templates. App PIN information is managed locally by the app and is not transmitted to HandyHQ.
5. Backups and exports
You can export a JSON backup and import a backup you previously saved. Exported JSON files are readable and are not encrypted by Count Vaultula. These files may contain sensitive balances, container names, or notes. You are responsible for keeping them secure and for removing copies you no longer need. Sharing an export with a third-party file provider is subject to that provider's practices.
6. Advertising, analytics and tracking
Count Vaultula 1.0.7 does not contain third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not use your cash inventory for cross-app advertising tracking. Apple may independently process device, purchase, or iCloud-service information under its own policies.
7. Support requests and website information
If you voluntarily contact Handi Inc through the Count Vaultula support page, HandyHQ may collect the name, email address, device details, message, and files you submit to respond to your request and maintain a support record. The support website may use anti-spam and security systems, along with standard web server logs. Support information is retained as reasonably needed for support, security, and legal obligations; you can ask about your support data through the same support page. Do not send your cash totals, app PIN, or JSON backup in a support request.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local Count Vaultula records generally remain until you delete the app or its data. Uninstalling does not automatically delete iCloud records or exported backups. Cloud data is managed through the applicable Apple/iCloud controls; backups saved elsewhere must be deleted at their respective locations. For questions or assistance, contact support.
9. Security
Count Vaultula protects its local vault file with encryption, but no security measure can eliminate all risk. Protect your Apple Account, devices, local unlock method, and any exported backups.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this page if Count Vaultula or its information practices change. The latest published policy will appear at this permanent privacy-policy address, with an updated effective date when appropriate.
